This policy explains what LKS Industries (“we”, “us”) does with personal information collected through lksindustries.com. We have tried to keep it short and specific rather than long and defensive.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into our enquiry forms. Depending on the form, that may include your name, designation, company, email address, telephone number, location, and the technical details of your requirement.
Our web server, like almost all web servers, records standard access logs including IP address, browser type and pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
- To contact you about an order you have placed, or a project you have asked us about.
- To keep records required for tax, accounting and quality management purposes.
We do not send marketing emails to addresses collected through this website unless you have specifically asked us to, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
Who else sees it
Enquiry form submissions are delivered by email to our own sales inbox and are handled by our staff. Beyond that:
- Our hosting provider stores this website and processes the form submission on our behalf.
- Google Maps is embedded on our contact page. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own policies. If you would rather not load it, you can view our address as plain text on the same page without interacting with the map.
We do not transfer your information to any other third party except where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are retained for up to three years, in case you come back to us about the same project. Records relating to orders are retained for as long as Indian tax and company law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete it entirely. Email sales@lksindustries.com and we will act on the request within a reasonable period, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send commercially sensitive documents through the enquiry form — email them directly instead, where you control the transmission.
